92 Tons of Private US Aid to Sendai, Japan

Samaritan’s Purse, a US-based relief organization gathered 92 tons of relief supplies and shipped them from North Carolina to Sendai, Japan, where the trucks were met by over 100 local volunteers. Supplies included food, blankets, soap, shelter material, fuel containers, and diapers, which will be distributed by local churches within the next few days.
