Super Typhoon Hitting East Asia

The world’s current largest Typhoon, Typhoon Souldelor, struck Saipan on Sunday, all electricity and running water was shut down. Souldelor is expected to hit Taiwan, on August 7th. According to NASA it has an 17-nautical-mile-wide eye and a top wind speed of 103.6 mph. Saipan should be receiving it’s first outside aid today with the arrival of the USS Ashland. Nasa predicts that “Soudelor’s final landfall is expected in eastern China on August 8th.”
